Lebanon to receive weapons shipment from U.S.

To supply or not to supply, that is the the question. With tempers flaring in Washington over the war funding bill, many people can make the point why would we bother with the Lebanese. All I'm gonna say about this is remember Reagan's Iran-Contra Affair. This shipment of weapons that the Lebonese will receive will haunt us later on in the future. Bank on it!

Prescription for Chaos

When asked by a reporter what does 9/11 have to do with Iraq, George W. Bush replied, "nothing."
Fast-Forward to May 2007 and we see that not much has changed since. The troops are still in Iraq, the casualties on both sides keep escalating and yet the message we get from our "leader" is we are stil not safe. How much safer can one be?
The troops want out, The Iraqi's want us out, Enough is Enough.
Post 9/11, our mission was to get Osama Bin Laden, How did we end up in Iraq?
Saddam is dead, So why are we still there?
Reconstruction? We are killing innocent civilians.
But I'll tell you the real reason why we're occupying Iraq, We're worried about Iran. So we're being a watchdog to make sure that Iran doesn't nuke .
With alot more on my mind I'll leave you with that to think about.

Al-Qaeda's Afghan head 'named'

Mustafa Abu al-Yazid presented himself as the leader of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.

In the tape, sections of which were aired on Thursday, al-Yazid said that al-Qaeda fighters would soon carry out attacks, and that al-Qaeda's Arab fighters were working "side by side" with its non-Arabs fighters.

He said: "The number of fighters is increasing. The support they receive from Muslims in Afghanistan is almost total."

He said that attacks against "the Americans, Nato and the treasonous government" were increasing and promised "defeat, expulsion and failure for the enemy crusaders and their apostate helpers".

He also pledged allegiance to Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda leader, and Ayman al-Zawahiri, bin Laden's deputy.
